9. Large Funds and large unit size (For example: 120 unit size for a standard sword unit).
10. Cheating & Shameful Displays
NOTE: All questionable plays will be reviewed by Emperor Bubbles.
Fight and Die with HONOR. Find yourself beaten? Do not run around the map avoiding slaughter, this will result in a loss against the perpetrator. There is a difference between skirmishing (getting your arrows to a safe place to fire a volley and then running away) and avoiding death (running around the map). Skirmishing is okay, but running around to avoid death or run out the time is cheating.
Pull Throughs: A pull through is defined as giving your unit (normally an infantry unit, but can still potentially apply to a cavalry unit) a constant order (multiple clicks) so that your unit “pulls through” to the other side of an enemy unit with no clear opening in sight. In other words, your unit goes through the enemy unit to flank them. Pull Throughs do not apply to special units (elephants/chariots).
-Knocking down infantry with cavalry, and then moving past them, is acceptable (if they are not knocked over it is PT)
-Retreating with any unit AWAY FROM AN OPPOSING FORCE is acceptable. This means that you can retreat as long as the way your men retreat is NOT blocked by enemy units (if you are surrounded, there is no free path, so you can’t retreat).
-Infantry can’t pull through infantry. Cavalry can’t pull through cavalry.
-Pull through with any unit on skirmishers (foot or horse) is acceptable.
-Elephants and chariots can pull through any unit.
Corner Camping, Red Line Camping, & “Noob” Boxes
Fighters may not camp in the corner of the map, on the edges of the map, or form “Noob” Squares to defeat their enemy.
Corner Camping & Red Line Camping: Positioning your units against the corner or side boundaries of the map to give you a tactical advantage over your opponent.
Noob Square: Forming your units into a square formation where they are unflankable. This rule mainly applies to forming pike units into a square box formation, but can also apply to any combination of units. Instances in question will be reviewed by the Emperor & his Praetorians.
11. A Screenshot of the stats screen at the end of the game must be taken and sent to Emperor Bubbles or posted in the EmperorBubbles Discord under #stats-and-results.
12. Battle replays must be saved and posted to #stats-and-results in the EmperorBubbles Discord.
13. Disconnects, crashes, or lagging out results in a loss for the person who lost connection, crashed or lagged out. The game may be replayed if both Fighters agree. In case of replay, the armies and factions selected must be the same. The replayed result will be the final result.
14. Ties: Games that end due to the 60 minute time limit expiring must be sent to Emperor Bubbles for review. If the Emperor determines there was a clear winner they will be declared victor, if there is no clear victor, the battle will be replayed using the same exact armies as the first battle.
15. Any disputes or displays of dishonor (ie potential cheating, pull throughs, etc.) will be reviewed and resolved by Emperor Bubbles.
16. The Emperor has the final say on any and all matters related to Total War League.
